    Wounaan Embera BASKET *Llama & Parrot* 7x7 Inch*Intricate* VERY Tightly Woven*
    Very tightly woven Choco basket from the Wounaan or Embera indigenous  people of the Darien Rainforest of Panama.   Background is natural; there are three panels of a pair of brown and black llamas; separated by tree trunks with pairs of green parrots on the branches; profuse leaves cover the rest of the surface; the bottom is a star pattern with the three tree trunks originating from there.
    Measures approximately 7 inches at large diameter and  7 inches high.  No obvious damage; always displayed in a closed cabinet. Penny is for size reference to quality of construction.
