5 inches tall and 3 inches wide.  LARGE, great looking patch representing one of the all time greats in aviation design.
This is the patch given to any person who flew in an SR-71.  There were two seats in the aircraft: one for the pilot and one for the RSO whose seat was sometimes used for orientation flights, etc.
The SR-71 flew so high and so fast that enemy interceptors and SAMS were powerless to prevent her from photographing whatever she wanted.
32 SR-71's were built, 12 were lost BUT zero were lost to enemy action.
The SR-71 required a specialized tanker, the KC-135Q, due to it's unique requirement for JP-7 fuel.
