    Description

An original oldie USAF 31st Special Operations Squadron embroidered patch. Redesignated as 31st Special Operations Squadron on April 6th 1989. Inactivated on August 31st 2001. The 31th Special Operations Squadron operated out of Futenma MCAS, Okinawa, Japan and Osan AB, South Korea flying HH-3, CH-3, MH-53 Super Stallion. T
his emblem design was approved on September 15th 1993. Nickname: "Black Knights".
The patch is in pristine condition.
Please take good note of the following:
ESPECIALLY FOR US BIDDERS: please note that a
regulation with US Customs makes an enormous change in sending letters with patches. The new US Customs regulations states that they want "information in advance what goods are in the letter". This means that if you do not provide this information, US Customs will sent the letter immediately back to sender if they find out. Therefore, I have to upfront inform them with a digital customs form and pay in advance before I even sent the letter. Also I have to provide US Customs the E-mail address from the buyer. When sending few patches in a padded envelop one will probably not notice the content but it could happen. When the value of the patch(es) goes over $ 50.00 I am obligated to mail it by registered mail. Recently I did sent a letter according to the above mentioned procedure with 4 patches to the US and the Dutch postal office charged me $ 23.50 for this. So be aware that this could happen before you even will bid. THEREFORE PLEASE AWAIT MY INVOICE!!!!!!!!
    The
postal charges are for mailing without T&T. As soon as the patch is in the mail it is out of my hands and out of my control. Therefore, I cannot be held responsible anymore if the patch gets lost in the mail.
If you want to be sure and want the patch sent with T&T the postal charges are indeed higher and will be $ 23.50.  This is simply the charges of the Dutch postal service. Therefore, please await my invoice.
The patch will be sent in a padded enveloppe.
    No extra costs for handling.
I started collecting the early 70ties and have amassed a huge collection from air forces around the world and my collection includes many very spectacular patches. I am starting selling all my USAF, US Navy and USMC patches in the upcoming period, so stay tuned.
If you have any foreign air force wing or squadron patches available and would like to sell them, please let me know and we could arrange a deal.
