Up for consideration is a Masterpiece of "MOLA" art. cotton cloth applique . Tons of micro stitching. (probably hundreds of hours_the stitching is difficult to see through the glass , plus a bit of glare. Please forgive the photographer !   Years ago , before the missionaries, Tattooing was an art among the locals. The missionaries were horrified ! so..............they taught them how to applique figures on cloth. They took it to another dimension.  This Mola is the best of the best. The Cuna Indians live on the 365 San Blas islands off the coast of Panama.  The native costumes are adorned with these molas. This mola is an exceptional art piece. It was collected in 1995. This is the best for someone who wants the best. This mola is framed and matted. The frame size is 22" x 18" approx and the mola is12" x 16" approx.  This is simply "the best" Micro stitching so fine it's difficult to see them through these photos. If you like molas...this one will knock your socks off ! This mola is matted and framed. VERY nicely done...............I've had dozens of molas through the years. I've been to Panama and saw hundreds.....This is the best on by far.......... The price is less if removed from the frame......
