This special photo was taken at a Concert in Detroit, 1968, by Tom Weschler, Photographer of Rock Stars. Tom Weschler delivered and set up sound equipment for most of the significant rock concerts in the Detroit area in the 1960’s and 70’s. He was also Bob Seger’s Road Manager.
A professional photographer, Tom always had his camera with him, and access to the stage area during concerts. He worked with the promoters and took care of accommodations of the Rock & Roll groups and stars that played Detroit. He selected this special group of limited edition, 8 by 10, black & white photos from all the pictures he took. They are his some of his best works. Photos of different stars he worked with in the early era of Rock & Roll. John Mellencamp, Jim Morrison and the Doors, Fleetwood Mac, Jimi Hendrix, Rory Gallagher, The Who, The Ramones, Jackson Browne, Bob Seger with Tom Petty and Bob Seger with Bruce Springsteen. He limited the edition to 250 photos of each. Tom Weschler signed and numbered each photo and an accompanying Certificate of Authenticity. No more will be made. The COA tells when and where the photo was taken.
