    Jimi Hendrix owned and used original 1970 Shin-Ei
    Uni-Vibe and expression pedal.
    This particular Shin-Ei Uni-Vibe is in excellent working condition, labeled: Univox, Westbury, N.Y.
    This unit was given to Jimi Hendrix’s brother Leon Hendrix by their father the late Al Hendrix.

    “The Uni-Vibe was developed and manufactured by the Uni-Vox company, Long Island, New York and sold by Merson Musical Products, Westbury, New York. The unit came on the market in early 1969 for 0 . “Jimi used the effect on such songs as Hey Baby ( The Land Of The New Rising Sun) & Machine Gun.”
    The first official live concert where Jimi used the Uni-Vibe was the legendary Woodstock Music and Art Fair on Sept 18th, 1969. From that moment on the Uni-Vibe became a permanent part of his stage set up.”
    This extremely rare Shin - Ei Uni-Vibe labeled Univox, owned and used by the legendary guitarist Jimi Hendrix will be accompanied by a letter of authenticity/provenance from Leon Hendrix.
