Here's a rare original 1973 paper promo advertisement for the premiere release of the famous Warner Brothers documentary movie "A Film About Jimi Hendrix" produced and directed by Joe Boyd.
This ad was clipped from a page of an original 1973 music magazine.
The ad measures approximately 13 and 1/4 inches x 5 and 3/4 inches.
The ad features an image of rock star Jimi Hendrix playing his guitar.
This R-rated movie officially premiered at the U.A. Westwood in Los Angeles and Vogue Theatre in San Francisco on Thursday, September 27, 1973.
The movie featured six previously unseen live Jimi Hendrix performances from 1966 to 1970 including the Monterey, Isle of Wight, and Woodstock Festivals.   Jimi Hendrix died in 1970.
