We start by re-flashing your Galaga board to Arcade1Up's latest software (currently v1.0.6). This resolves several issues with the earlier releases, including incorrect colors and lockups in Galaxian. Then our special tweaks are added, fixing a few minor issues and adding a second copy of Galaga and Galaxian, each with rapid-fire shooting enabled.

Shipping your board to GeekSales:
You are responsible for shipping the board to us for upgrading. A USPS First Class Package (w/ tracking) will cost ~, or a Priority Mail flat-rate envelope ~. We recommend leaving the board in the little metal enclosure, then placing it in
two
layered bubble-padded envelopes. (Many "Dollar" stores carry two-packs of small bubble envelopes for .) A small box is also fine, but may cost a little more to ship. If you have access to UPS/FedEx/DHL at work, that's great too.
Return Shipping:
Return shipping is via USPS First Class Package, with a tracking number. You can optionally upgrade to Priority Mail return shipping.

What if my board
can't
be repaired/upgraded?
If the board arrives non-working or a previous modification attempt has left it un-repairable, all but the shipping charge will be refunded, and the board will be shipped back to you. (No worries - so far
all
working boards sent in have been upgradable, and many non-working boards have been re-flashed to working condition.)
Is this service for vintage Galaga arcade games too?

Carefully package your board, and ship it to the address provided in the email.
