    American Flyer “S” Gauge Freight Car Truck with Metal Wheels
    Cleaning out the parts bins a little.  Here is a postwar American Flyer Freight Car truck with  latch coupler with no weight and metal wheels on one side.  Trucks with metal wheel sets were used on cars needing electrical power.    Latch couplers without weights were used on equipment made in 1947.  In 1948 weights were added to the latches.   This truck looks original,  clean and ready to use.    Maybe someone can use it.    S
