    American Flyer “S” Gauge Freight Car Truck Early Thin Shank
    Cleaning out the parts bins a little.  Here is an early postwar American Flyer Freight Car truck with the thin shank latch coupler.  Thin shank couplers were used on the first AF equipment made after the war and were used on equipment made in 1946.    After 1946, shank width was increased to prevent breakage.    This trucks looks original,  clean and ready to use.    Maybe someone can use it.    S
