Description

Mintage 550 but only 430 released, the rest melted (see Breen Encyl, p 296).
Neither conserved nor doctored, unlike most Seated proofs in "problem free" PCGS slabs.
Undervalued Civil War proof.
Many tallied in the population reports are resubmissions or crossovers of the same coins. Even so, population just 197 in all grades combined!
